how do u know how loud is too loud?

My car is REALLY noisy and i have only ever been pulled once and that was for speeding which is fair doos.

Lots of people post about being pulled all the time but i dont get it ever.

them jap back boxes have cardboard for silencers your car must be mega loud during normal driving let alone when your thrashing it!!!!

If you wanna keep the straight through get a magnex exhust there quiet on a full proper system so yours will surely be toned down slightly by it!

i have a jap back box too, one of the 'proper' ones with the twist inside, loud as, but as i say ive never been pulled for it even overtaking a copper at full throttle lol.

i think it depends a lot on your area and the actual cops themselves.

i also think its to do with the way you drive, if you drive like a cock, you will get pulled. and i guess it does depend on the cops in ur area

along with the others in town my mates never get pulled, they have valvers. the V6, doesnt get pulled, and thats load as anything. even the R5 GT doesnt get pulled, and that sounds like a tractor on heat!

must be something you do, i have never, touch wood, been pulled in lincoln. i get pulled all the time in horncastle, but i just have a laugh with them. once you state your rights to them you wount have a problem. They CANNOT take your car from you unless its unroad worthy, and then you have to sign to say you give your permission. If they try to take it from you, take there job. They've had problems like this in notts when that guy lost his scooby for no reason.

i've never been stopped in lincoln or horncastle.
Got chased out of Horncastle once and i stopped at dalderby and waited for the
omega, got away with that one though!

MoT stations dont have the means to carry out a noise test! The only place i can think you would get it done is at the race circuits? Realistically though you know if its too loud, however it is true once a car starts getting pulled it will keep getting pulled!!
