Just been reading some sites and alot of people mention dizzyless so just wondered what there on about.

It's the late c20Xe's runngin motronic2.8 set up has a coil pack set up rather than a coil and dizzy.

Hardly any difference in performance (some say stronger spark but pah..) but its a lot more reliable than a dizzy as it doesnt wear-out like arms and caps in dizzy's do...

The set up is better over all as the upgraded ecu is better programed and the sensors show more values, you can also adjust the idle and some other bits on the motronic 2.8 set up, whee you can do nothing on 2.5set up.
They are equally reliable because the coil pack breaks down and causes missfires, and the dizzy wears out.

It does indeed have a stronger spark ouput too, which is why those runing nitrous prefer this as it is able to ignite more gas.

the other thing is a shreud MOT tester should spot that this set up was used post'92 so you need a CAT. But depends how up on vauxhalls the tester is.

could u not then tell them that it has been converted from a distributor system, to a dissyless 1??
