so pretty pointless upgrade from a koni kit, if car is not gonna be kitted, not arsed about ride height.

Buying/fitting new springs is hardly difficult. On most every day road cars they are a bit overkill.

now ive got the wheels i want and a good ride height i doubt il adjust it again. but i have adjusted it loads before getting the perfect height.

the spax kit im putting on my gsi is good...
rears are just lowering spring & shocker, about 70-75mm lower when settled...
fronts are coilovers, so can raise or lower the front. useful if I need to raise it to get it up on ramps or just cos the roads are shit...

i meant the ramps you drive up to get under the car to work on it 
yes I'm gona sit for 10 mins raising the front end of the car to get over a speedbump & create a loooong tailback of cars

with alot of hastle... yes... but you still need to jack the car up
but it is easier with the wheels off

thats the kit I havce 
is it me... or does it lower more like 75mm when its all settled on the rear...

yeh the rear goes very low, i cant rememver but i measured it once, worked out mine was dropped 100mm at the front 
cant remember the rear tho

i had about 2cm clearance from the front bumper & the floor once mine had settled & the coils were only 2/3rd way down
