I need to get my car serviced and have the water pump changed, but garages round here seem useless and haven't got a scooby what they're doing!

Try Denton's Garage on Cross Street, Headington, just off Morrell Ave by Brookes Uni.

I know where Morrell Avenue and Brookes is but where exactly is Cross Street? Is it near Divinity Road or something?

Coming down the hill that is Morrell Ave, it's the last little road on the left before you get to London Road.

Multimap (or at least Streetmap) doesn't show mini roundabouts.

Yeah, I used them to fit my Piper exhaust back in the day

Back in the days when I was using buses to commute, I was waiting for a bus in St Clements to go up to Headington, after waiting half an hour (and no buses - this was at 5.20pm but there was lots of traffic etc.), I decided to walk up Headington Hill etc. that was such an achievement for a fat bastard like me!

I used to live in Headington and enjoyed (joke) the brisk walk down to Brookes.

I paid 30p for a Stagecoach back up the hill tho
