im looking at taking the missus on a holiday to germany next year, but we said about driving it instead...
I am covered to drive in europe on my insurance, so no biggie there, but just wondering how much should we aim to save up? I know it aint going to be cheap!
also are there any websites which offer information & help about doing this? I tried googling it, but got nothing also unsure where to go in germany as never been before so dont know where the nice places are!
will be going in about end of August time, so plenaty of time to save up a bit of cash (hopefully)

Well we went to the Opel Treffen in Belgium last year and including food etc.. (altough we did camp) and fuel etc... I spanked about £250 (inc ferry) good for a weekend really.
Just an idea but i did take a credit card to just incase i got into bother.
