tbh bung shit loads of fuel cleaner thru rag it for a bit make sure its warm when u take it and it shuld pass on a 1.2 even w/out the cat, has egr valve etc

if it aint blowing its prolly a hole in the heat shield thats rattling aswell. in which case it wont affect your mot at all
