Momo Champion, when I get home from work I am going to eat my steak pie and aunt bessie yorkshire puddings then attempt to remove the old steering wheel.

This is going to be a mission I feel, any hints or tips?

It is hard to remove the old steering wheel, I've been trying since I got the car nearly a year ago to get the bastard thing off

WD40 and my dads brute force maybe required.

tie some rope round the spokes of the steering wheel, and tie the other end to a lampost, then roll the car forward, not too fast and keep one hand on the handbrake. i await the results.

Well Halfords are thick as shit, they don't have or sell a steering wheel puller although I don't believe the bloke as he looked liked he was on work experience from special school.

Anywhere else I can get one from? Would Vaux be able to sort me out?

i did mine without a puller, i couldn't find one in the end.

i just spent a while yanking it, shaking it and pulling, wiped off then put it away and went to try and get steering wheel off using the same techniques.

took a while but it happened in the end.

i put a cavalier steering wheel in my nova
