As far as I know, there is no way to rollback to an older version of DirectX without formatting......why would you want to, for a start?

It's a stupid idea. C is backwards compatible with B. It's like installing 98 over XP, possible but the hassle isn't worth it.

there is an app I think called DX Killer. It will remove previous installations of direct x. As others have said I can't see why you'd wanna roll back to b?.
