Looking for something quick, ideally 0-60 in under 8.0 seconds. I want the car to be standard also.

Cheers,
Alex

Audi 80 16v. Does 60 in 8 secs and looks boring, so would be a good sleeper!

Seen quite a few on autotrader at mo, they are simply called audi 80 16v. That engine only came in the facelifted range though, and the 2.0 8v is slow.

I've got the same problem, i need something pretty quick, looks ok fairly standard and is cheap to insure for an 18 year old with a years no claims for less than £1600.

are they fuck, expect high maintenance, unless you can get one thats had a few bits like rear beam overhauled etc. But for your budget not sure what you would get. You been on PGAC?
