Basically last friday on my way to uni i went in the back of someone
I was at a roundabout, thought the van in front had gone and was only rolling forward (not even with the clutch up) at about 2-3MPH lookin to the right for a space on the roundabout when i slowly hit the van infront

Pulled over and exchanged details etc, looked at the damage and there was only a small mark on the right hand lower rear of the van. I said to the bloke i would like to sort in out cash to save NCB and hassle. He said he will pass it onto his boss and get him to call me.

Anyway he called me today and is claming there is £2000 of damage to the van He is takin the piss as there was no real damage and all the damage to my car was a small dent in the grill which i have had quoted at £60 to repair

he is blatently takin the piss and doin a bit of insurance fraud; which mean my insurance will go through the roof as im gonna have to claim

be a bit stupid if he has, because if it does come down to it, he can just show pics of the above damage to bm, and no1 would believe that would do 2k worth of damage.

Yeah i am tryin to arrange to get and independent person to have a look.

He is claming for new graphics, chasis damage, bulkled wheels....

I have had 4 body shops look at my car and they are all sayin that the most damage i could have done in £200, but will have to put the claim in for this to be proven

He could be trying to get another van fixed on your insurance when infact someone has reversed into a wall or something. My advice is to go around and have a look at the van. There really are some twats in this world.

the reason he is going to claim on insurance is so that he gets a nice fat payout because they right his van off and then hes laughing all the way to the bank with the cash.

Sadly no matter what u say on this he has you over a barrel whether u get an independent quote via pics or not.

Soz fella it sucks
