i wish to complain about rural essex roadways and the lack of maintainance.

as police u should make them safer, as a bald tyre is an offence, but yet roads can be covered in mud and crap, drastically increasing stopping distance (more so than a bald tyre)

who gets the blame?

she wasnt out with traffic, but i think was with response cars as she said the minute she left the station there was a call, went there sorted it, got in car and instantly another call like that all night.. it was met police so guess they just busy! she did love it, said it was so exciting, she was in dodgy area's tho.. like depford etc..

How you finding OZ then?

Yeah oz is fantastic. Weather has just started to improve. Had LOTS of much needed rain. so 30+ now for 6 months. The ST170 has been doing well over believe it or not! Its a right little weapon on the smooth roads out here. And the RS blue is to die for Other than that, not looking forward to moving back to england if i have to

How long you been there for now? i remember you saying you were going but that was like over a year ago when i was still senior mod, more than a year ago now I think about it.

the imperial blue is deffo the colour to have, only problem is that it was unique for the Rs, then they gave it to the st170 (not complaining) but now they have given it to the TDI rubbish, so its not really a unique colour anymore, better than silver still, I did like my coupe in silver but was time for a change and I couldnt hack black again, my corsa always looked so dirty.

She wouldnt be allowed to go with traffic incase there was a big accident somewhere like the M25 or whatever, but when I went out with the Met before i joined essex I wasnt allowed in the response cars (astra's) for health & safety reasons so went out in a fiesta. I went out on a friday night and we went from job to job but they werent on blue lights.

I've been to hackney for a house search and it wasnt a nice area to say the least, me and a shift colleague went in one car and the met put a unit outside watching my car while we went inside so that our focus didnt get stolen

its large lorries and stuff that hit the soft edge of road, thus propelling mud into the road, police fine us for lack of maintenance to cars because it dangerous, yet roads can be dirty and unsafe and no one gets fined.

how can police turn a blind eye and not feel responsable?
