Ive only just realised the 1.6i ralleys have 90bhp 11.8 secs 0-60 and the 1.3's have 100 bhp seen a 1.6 i really like aswell!!!

Another option is a but im guessing the insurance will be the same as a 106 gti?

mates got a 1.3 rallye and recently got a letter through from tescos stating you will have to be 21 or over to be insured on 1 under ur own name. performance is nothing special in standard form but they handle great and are pretty quick with a 16v conversion

youve been on parkers too much , why would a group 11 car be 11.5 to 60?

1.6 rallye's r faster than the 1.3s , about 8.3ish to 60 i think

dood wtf did you get them states from! jesus boy!

the 1.6 rallye has 103bhp and 97lb/ft torque.

the 1.3 has 100bhp and 80 lb/ft torque.

EVO have show that a Gti will do 7.4 0-60. you will low 8`s in a 1.6 rallye. torque difference between the 2 rallyes is quite signifcant in cars that weight 800-850kg. The 1.6 rallye has near identical in gear times to the GTi.

i have owned both versions of the rallye btw

I think the fact my car has 95 lb ft of torque is why its so nippy in like 2nd gear... but its just when I get it into 3rd on wards, it doesn't have the power to really turn it that well

Sxi Power hehe

seriously though - I want a 106 gti, just can't be arsed with the hassel of selling my car
