What did you do with the standard GSi front seats? They are not GSi in there?
Fair play to him if you Dad wants to mod his car - but personally i think the Vectra GSi is something i just would not play with i think it looks awesome out of the box.

Sorry the EV0 spoiler is gay, it screams "i really want an EVO but i cant afford it".
You will NOT get 230bhp from Courtenays CS15+ package. I had this fitted to my old Gsi and got 196bhp, the superchip map they use is pathetic, i had a massive torque drop off between 4-5krpm. I had to go and have it mapped with a unichip. The unichip dealer did a great job of mapping it but in the end i had 203bhp and that was with a GPA cat back exhaust as well (which isnt part of the CS15+ kit). the engine had only done 56k and was sweet as a nut, just in case you try to blame power output on a fucked engine.
The only worthwhile thing they do is the lightened flywheel.
If you do go ahead with this, i can emphasise enough to get a before and after RR print out so that you can compare standard to modified. I suspect you will then have the evidence to point out to courtenay how really shite they are.*
* This is my own opinion of Courtenay sport, after spending nearly 10k there over the past few years and getting shite results.

my sentiments exactly top colour, engine just needed subtle mods rather than removing the good parts of it
but each to their own

IMO of course I think he should have left the OE GSi kit on, prefere the leather interiors and think the power you are hoping to get is a no no, especially as the work is being done at Courtneys. SetH had his GSi there and was less than impressed. In my experience they are cock jockeys that have made a business on false power claims. Sorry

I'm sorry if you don't like what I have to say but to be honest tough shit. I said in my opinion. Also nowhere did I say the GSis came with leather interiors although the CDXs did and I much prefere it. Finally I wasn't moaning at you about the power output just informing you of my opinion of Courtneys. I live about 15 mins from them and know how they have been operating for the last 5 years, they make false power claims about their modifications. Fact!
