atm i got 6x9 sony xplod which where fitted when i bought the car.They do the job quite well.

Get rid of your Xplods ... they are for pikeys

u know, i could just get a £150 alpine head unit, £50 pioneer sub, and a cheapo amp and i would save £300 quid....would there be a huge difference though? in sound

Personally id save up and go for Vibe amps and subs with a good set of components for the front and back door pockets.

Also a Pioneer or Alpine head unit.

From you list, alpine and jl and v. good quality, and sound great, not sure about the kenwood though, not heard it.

looks good mate, but i would save up for a different amp Kenny amp wont do the JL any favours and you really want something that is rated atleast 50w-100wRMS higher than the sub (then cut back on gains) to reduce any distortion when playing the system loud

but it looks good mate and like the rest have said, take the sony's out, they will cause your sub to sound wank. And invest in some comps for the front doors

I have the Vibe MB4 which is very very good considering i only paid £100 for it brand new i NEED TO DITCH THOSE FUCKING SHITTY SUBS THO bloody coils are blacker than a black man in the dark

thats abit harsh. I dont think they are of best quality but they sound good enough for a basic install

Get rid of the Xplod's mate, they'll go in a few weeks cos by the sounds of it u expect too much from them and u'll blow them, save ur money, it isn't worth it...

The sub is good, the amp looks ok (get dual 2 ohm sub) as the amp is one ohm stable...

No reason to get the 9812 tho m8, its an old unit now, get one of the alpines from the current line up...
