unlucky ash im in the same boat tho! all the strut braces ive seen have said excluding ecotech!!!

Is there a strutbrace out there that fits the 1.6 16v ecotech?

Even with it fitted you will still struggle to find one that fits, i cant find an ecotech friendly one

I fitted mine with the proper hose in the right location and I think it looks better than if it's just sitting on the top of that injection jobby

- it's an early model 1.2 8v, no afm etc
- pipe was fairly short and it kept bashing on my cambelt cover
- it sounds nice as you can hear the throttle body workin behind it
- it's something a bit different
- it's nice and secure
- and who says that it has to be fitted in the same old place as everyone else anyway?

Funny you should say that, it has a direct cold air feed goin down behind the bumper now - was fitted just after that pic was taken so

that front upper strut brace looks like it mite possibly fit on an ecotec model-is it defo not going to fit if i bort the 3 piece set?
