Yes it's the noisy thing. You need to properly clean and degrease it to stop it from tapping so much...

You just soak it in a degreaser like muc off for a while... Or send it off for ultrasonic cleaning - that will cost about £50 for the set...

Ultrasonic cleaning £50? I work in the airline component repair industry, and even we wouldn't charge that!
10 minutes cleaning, minimal materials...paperwork, maybe £25??!!
