Does anyone know who makes polished oil caps for ecotec engines, jus got myself a 1.6 16v n a carbon rocker so i nd 1 2 finish it off.

no one makes them to my knowledge....this is the best option iv found so far....

pah dont insult me!!! thats all my own work there mate, did it all by hand! i demand an apology!!! sand blasting would give no where near as clean finish! lol

if i did somethin like that it would probs be all patchy n shit! debating just spraying the plastic cover for now to match the bodywork

yes spraying the plastic cover looks good with standard inlet, HOWEVER standard inlet polished and polished cam cover looks cooool

yes. worth it. i sell the polished rocker covers for 70pounds exchange, may seem pricely but all hand done and take me ages and ages!

might just raid a scrappy for the inlet & cover for an X16XE then & have a go myself

yes take ur time and do it properly, its worth it. pain in the arse to fit tho if u still have the standard clips on the throttle body, when u refit remove the stanard clips and put some jubille clips on instead

I have started doing this to my engine, trust me it takes some man hours bet i have spent a good 24hours solid to get mine to the finishing stage, mines dull and is about ready for its last polish which should be another few hours, and before any one says it, they dont dull much when this polished, quick wipe and they back to BLING

broster when you say you sell them for 70 quid exchange, do you mean you have them polished already and i just swap it with my manky one and give you seventy quid. or do i have to take mine off and wait for you do it them bang it back on the car?

ok mate. i have an x16xe cam cover by the way, not a c16xe like most gsi's. threw that away after i blew it up

have you added a chrome plate to cover the centre of it?
do iget that aswell or is that extra?
