with insurance!
it is law in the uk for us to havemotor insurance, this is acceptable as if by chance we do have an accident we are covered for expenses caused!

so why do the goverment allow insurance companies rip us off!
im 19 i own a 1.48v corsa been drivin 2 years..covered approv 75k miles! in my last 3 cars..

i have pass plus, drive daily but am and have always been insured on dads name because cudnt afford to insure myself whilst at college etc...
im now in full time employment and my insurance is up for renewal, told parents ill go on my own name...except ive had 4 quotes of over 2000 2 at approx 1900.

i dont think this is fair! my grandad who i feel is a worst driver is paying 260 a year on his 1.6 golf...just cos he has bout 70 ncb lol!

i just get so fed up i can afford a nice car but cant insure anything!

its a rip off, and plus claiming is pointless if your under 25 or ya car is completely stacked

My excess is higher than most average repair costs

£1300 fully comp on a 106 Gti (group 13) with elephant.

Couple of months ill be 21 with 1 NCB and itll be under £1000 hopefully

I know what you mean though, most places quoted me well over £2k
