i get the smae on my c16xe, even the girlfriend commented that my car sounded like it hadf a distinctive.

I have an intermittent tps fault which holds the tickover at 2k sometimes.
Its when its doint this i get the noise, but its quite loud and at anything from a 4k gearchange upwards!

its the EGR valve, its even more apparent on turbo diesels etc.. as they have the boost pressure.
