just got e-mail saying they want verification of credit card etc. or my account will be suspended. said sumthing about the account been used fraudulantly is this dodgy

if it's true then log onto ebay account normally and put the info in to validate etc.. if it's an email asking for card details DO NOT reply or if it's a link make sure it's going to ebay not a masked url.

well don't risk it if u have no clue, just logon to ebay normally and if it's required it will say so when u login so you'll know it's legit

yer, seriously, every single damn site ive ever signed up for which involves p2p transactions. ALWAYS state, they will never ask for your details in this way. rtfm :]
its always through site. they WILL email you asking you to log onto site to check, but never ask for reply via emal :]
just in case you were stupid and did email back your details, ring your bank now and cancel the card :]
your liable otherwise for things like this.
