Hi, my mk4 astra is currently for sale http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=167927

But im getting another car for work (an older car as a project) so the astra has to go.

Went in the autotrader last week, and got no interest, and is in again this week.
Also advertised on astra-sport.co.uk, scot-ads (both editions) and in ad-trader with bold print etc.

Its currently for sale at £3800 (autotrader will still say £4k as it was printed before i amended the price)
I paid £4900 for it in march, and since then ive taxed it, mot'd it new front tyre, new brake pads, full s/s jetex exhaust system etc etc, So i just cant afford to drop lower than £3800.

Theres these car selling agencies that keep hastling me, promising the earth, guaranteed sale, lots of buyers, and if they take credit with the agency then i get a refund of the initial cost ect, but i dont trust them at all!

Phoned a car auctioneer and they said id only get a price in the high £2k mark through an auction.

What can i do to try sell it faster, As i really need the cash

DO NOT USE a selling agent they are a con promise there is gaurenteed buyers for you if you pay £80!!
top gear site is full of readers letters about these!
