could any1 give us some ideas of what sort of tv would be best, either a motorised one or a built in dash one and if you could give us some makes of tvs would be very grateful

Built in dash are very good if you have the necessary skills to make a custom housing for them.

Motorised ones are good when you want to replace the standard unit with a screen without any extra fuss.

Good makes for din sized motorized screens/units are Pioneer, Kenwood and Alpine, but all 3 are quite pricey.
