as above. I got no idea what engines they come with standard, but i heard a dump valve go off on one yesterday coming out of the petrol station and it looked really smart! I always thought the RS was n/a...?

Focus RS is a 2.0ltr turbo

Although the Zetec engine does respond pretty well to a little forced induction so quite a few people have done a conversion of some sorts...

cool, cheers guys. I was racing a focus RS off the lights a while ago, and it was pretty even so i asumed they were n/a!

They are a crap front wheel drive set-up so he probably couldnt put any power down

or he wasnt trying!

just looked and its 0-60 in 6.4, so theres only about 1/2 second in it between me and him - it would have seemed pretty even 0-45 ish from the lights! I need a turbo....

Im sorry but i find it hard to believe an XE corsa with a body kit and big wheels can pull 0-60 in under 7secs... 7.x is more like it

Focus will be way quicker upto 100 as well. I doubt many XE corsas hit 60 in under 7 TBH as ditch says above

had a 20-80 with a focus RS down a B road today, was pretty much even, although a few times had to seriously back off so i dont think he was 100% trying, but u can never tell can u?

ive never timed mine, just thought about 7 seconds was average. I got a 4-1 on mine too, so 8-10 bhp above standard.

The general consensis is that a std ish 2.0 16v corsa will do 60mph in around 6.5-7.0

stripped out, decent tyres/lightweight alloys and perfect launch i reckon for the 6.5.

i've driven an RS Focus, handles a lot better than my corsa, as everything is built and made for a turbo engine, factory mutherfuckers
my mate who has a very rich dad got bought one for his 23rd b'day, gave me a spin in it at beginning of august, i want one after i've grown out of corsas
