Of course harnesses are safer! What makes you think a std seatbelt would be? You cant possibly tell me that 3" wide webbing bolted down to the shell in reinforced areas is not as good as a seatbelt LOL
With bucket seats seatbelts are a very poor fit, harnesses are really a must...
I'd look into road rallying, you'll learn a lot about it all from there...

Well the fact that you have to be strapped tight to the seat for them to do anything, you try taking a junction like that...

i had corbeau forza sports, dont get me wrong they were comfy, they just pissed me off trying to climb in them the whole time, the harnesses are even worse, esspcially when you where a coat, spend half my time adjusting them so they fitted.

1800ed. I do take junctions like that nearly every day
LOL, know what you mean kris but I find driving without a coat much easier than adjusting the lap straps. Suppose ive got used to it. I do however find harnesses much comfier than having a belt come across and cut into your neck. They are a bit of a bind to do up but you get used to it as I say... Must have drove best part of 20K miles now with harnesses...
