Clutch on my C20XE appears to be fine, no point replacing it. But, it is increadibly stiff - the release leaver on the outside of the box hardly moves - is it possible to replace just that mechanism to make it silky again?

are you sure its not the cable thats stiff, its takes alot to move any clutch release lever buy hand!!

cable is cheap and easy to replace so worth a punt

Cable was fucked anyway, the gearbox is detatched from the engine and clutch now, and the mechanism is still mega stiff... Might be able to strip and rebuild?
