probably about the same it would cost to buy a new engine from vaux...

£1400 about for full top & bottom end rebuild including all parts & labour

hmmm about that I think... best to check

I know a C20XE is around 1400-1500, but its an exchange job

You give them your old block & top-end (block, head, pistons, crank, cams) and they give you the same back (brand new) which just drops straight in, re-connect & off ya go

best give them a ring or something just to check the price.

yeah, mite aswell get it done buy vaux then, all id have to do is take block out put new one in!
