I was in a crash last thursday which involved someone driving out in front of me and me driving into the side of them. I never got the other drivers details at the crash so just presumed I could get them when the police come to investigate what happened. Someone mentioned to me today that they dont always investigate accidents where no one was seriously hurt, is this right? Do you think I will be receiving a visit from the police?

i doubt you will see them, they normally come there and then if they do.

Unless someone has been injured, they won't be bothered. Its deemed a civil not criminal affair if its what's known as "damage only"

i was taken to hospital but nothing serious. Dont have the other drivers details at all so will phone the police tomorrow

the police were at the scene and that and breathalised us both at the time and then an ambulance finally came and then I left in it.

in my crash wit the *ahem* saxo, i got hurt and so did my mate in the passenger seat but because th other driver did a hit and run and drove off they did nothing because the injuries 'werent serious enuff', load of bollox really

Leni had an accident with a pederestrian and he gave leni the wrong details, she rang the police a week later about this and they sent her a copy of his details!
