got a desent enough bike, well frame anyway, but the brakes and gears need upgrading. where can i get some parts online? what parts are good?

also the cog thingy one this bit



is plastic, WTF is that all about!

some are plastic some are fibre glass

have you a std rear freewheel and rear mech?

what needs replacing?

yeah its all standard, the brakes are V, there not too bad, ts the chainset and derailers i want to replace as they slip like fuck under load

hello Greg i currently have two HOPE hydraulic disk brakes for sale, a rear mech, a frame, some marzocchi suspension forks, some wheels basically eveything give me a u2u with what you want

You shouldnt need to change derailiers. If it's slipping it's usually because the sprockets are worn. Often if you replace a chain it starts slipping as a new chain wont work well with worn sprockets. I would try changing the chain and sprockets and see what happens. The jockey wheels are never under alot of stress which is why you can get away with them being plastic. The top jockey wheel is also supposed to feel a bit loose as it is designed to tilt slightly to aid gear changing
