Just heard off a mate that a new law came into effect a few weeks ago regarding drinking laws for people who've been driving less than 2 years. Apprently you're not allowed any alcohol at all till after being on the road for 2+ years?
I don't believe him cos surely if it was passed then it would of been publisised.

i think it ruling should be,
ur allowed 1 pint for every year you have been driving. ie, if been driving 3 years, you can have 3 pints and still drive legally

To be honest, you shouldn't have any alcohol if you are going to drive. Even if you are under the limit, it imposes problems if you are in an accident with insurance and the law...

I never drink when I'm driving & if I do have a drink at all, I don't drive for 24hours after it.

I agree
I wouldn't risk it even under the limit, though a small consumption, there is an effect on reactions times and confidence as opposed to being sober.

Silly billy. One day you might get caught and then you'll be pissed off. Beofre anyone has a go at you - speeders and people driving thier car too fast for the road conditions cause more accidents than drink drivers... Still no excuse, bend over and let me slap your bum bum
