well, i have started to modify my corsa again
this is what it used to look like:

then i put it back to standard,

cos i was gonna sell it and get a vauxhall combo van.
but i decided not to get a van, but to modify my cosa again. this time puting a bigger engine (1.4 16V), repair the bodykit, as it got damaged from being so low. strip the interior and ICE out of it, stick a roll cage in.
this is as far as i have got at the moment:

the car has bilstein shocks and g-max -60mm front -40 rear springs (though the rear is very high now, due to loss of ICE and interior so i am gonna have to get some -60's)
ready to go in the car are some cobra clubman bucket seats and some sabelt 3 point harnesses. i'm gonna have a smaller dash, an astra GTE digi dash, and centre pannel with all the switches and heater controlls on it.
DTM mirrors are now on, in primer. i have made a smaller, lighter and clutter-free dash out of MDF, which will be covered in black alcantra.
standard rear bumper has been smoothed and primered.
also i have found a suzuki swift spoiler (similar to the saxo style) in my garage which i think i'm gonna blend into the GSi spoiler.
the carpet has been ripped up, and the floor has been cleaned and sprayed star silver, as i am keeping the inside of the car silver and the body sprayed gun-metal grey.
also need some deeper skirts for it, cos the GSi skirts didnt suit the front bumper (so i sld the skirts).

Get rid of the bumper and bonnet.
If your going for the stripped out look you need standard bumpers (or simular), motorsport wheels and subtle styling.

i'm being different. as most cars that have kits usually have re-trimmed interior and/or ICE. and some of my mates copied me when i got bucket seats, took the rear seats out and stuck a nice install in the rear; and i know they cant be bothered to sell all their ICE and strip out their cars. so thats what i am doing.

Doesn't not having a radio get a bit boring after a while?
There's little point in stripping it to just weigh it down with tat though .

no. as the car was lowered -60mm on 15's, with GSi skirts and colourcoded standard bumpers. i was offered the MC rally bumper and bonnet at very good prices. (£50 for bumper and £60 for bonnet) so i bought them and put them on my car. but the GSi skirts didnt suit so i sold them.
at the moment the car is undrivable, as the engine is warped, due to overheating because of a faulty thermostat. still waiting to find a decent 1.4 16V to stick in the car.
James_DT, i have stripped it out, as it is now lighter than it would be with the interior in. simple as.
there is an alpine head unit, 6CD changer and alpine components still in the car. so at least i get some music to listen to
