If you build your own tho, expect the cost to spiral out of control

I know the cost of mine has & I'm still building it 5 months after starting to buy the parts!!

Yeah, I don't believe that you can build them so cheap. I used to build my own and got bored of the side never being on it, hence my last one was a Presario from PC World

not bothered about gaming etc... if i wanna play i go out & drive my car

for an e-machines with 17" tft its gonna cost me £450 comes with printer too

It might be cheaper to by a cheap base computer and upgrade the Internals yourself later on. Sell some of the parts like HD, CD-RW, etc...Recommended for people who don't wish to build there own.
