jus split up with the gf, want summin 2 fiddle with and me mate wants 2 share my internet connection so we can do some hardcore internet gaming!! been lookin at routers and have come up with this, been lookin on PCWORLD coz i wana go get it 2day!!

yes they do as they both connect via ethernet broardband anyway?

we both have them built in2 our motherboards?

its just a router, not a router/modem combo, so you will need either a DSL or cable modem to plug into that box.

604-L (i think) router modem goes from internet to router then wirelessly to the comps..

up 2 100m signal!

i have no need 4 wireless stuff, as i dont have anything with a wireless card

yes, the pcs will b side by side in the same room.

where did BNC come into this? Havent seen that used for years! Yeah if you are with NTL cable, then you dont need another modem, just a broadband router like the one you posted.

ended up bein ฃ50, but i dont care as i was owed money!

eventually got it set up, had some problems sharing files but got it sorted.

heres a pic of the set up in my room, a bit messy

then we ran Call of Duty via a LAN connection, my mate hosted on his pc and i joined, his ping was zero, and mine went from 3-5, was nice
