im currently working as a lettings agent and i really am not havin to much fun, i went to an interview last week to join a firm as an apprentice electrician and iv got my fingers crossed that this will come good, my problem is i had a boss above me (lettings manager) who left yesterday, there are now only three of us here and to top it off i have now been promoted to manage things the pay is still sh*t the hours still too long but im gonna end up really stitching them up if i go, ones on holiday for a month in sept ones on hol for 2 weeks starting mid aug, trouble is im only wanting to give 2 weeks notice (if that) i dont have a contract either so i guess i dont strictly need to give notice, i dont wanna stitch anybody but equally i dont wanna get stuck in a rut and be in a job im not enjoying when a fantastic opportunity i hope will be coming my way, so what would everyone else do???

they ain't been fair on you if they are paying you 'unfair' wages for the work you are doing.
all depends on your conscience really, in the end of the day seems to me you are facing a nightmare couple of months with the planned holidays!
whats the longest you would be prepared to work after giving in your notice? maybe there is some work arounbd solution where you saty til they have found someone new and they have worked there maybe a week or so?
tricky sitution, i should know i am there myself...........

Fuck them hard.....they are/would do the same to you.
Also you dont need to give any notice if you have no contract........bit foolish to be working without 1 IMO

leave! its their fault if they have no backup if this happens. If you haven't signed a contract you can leave right away.
