Howdy

Know this has been asked a lot, seem to remember Adrian Flux's name popping up a fair bit, anyways I rang them for a quote and they were like £3500 - £4000 And as a standard 1.4 Sport their best offer was £1700. I'm paying £1450 at the mo. I'm 20, have one year's ncb, pass plus, and have held a licence for about 3 years. Surely someone will insure me for 2 grand or under on a valver? Any ideas?

Cheers, Nesh

i only got the 2nd years no claims a few weeks ago, it was £2040 before that, so i dont see why yours is so huge, i know the postcode makes a difference, but

and yes, they know about all my mods, i had to fill in a modified vehicle report for them.

When they ask what your car is valued at, do you take into account the mods?

Its insured for £4k value i think. Spent £9k on it now including the ICE and buying the car, but theres no way its worth that much. NOt sure what their policy is on replacing modified cars, but at least its insured!

Anyone else know? Eg if you said it's worth £4k, is that the max they'd pay out in the event of a claim? And how much does the premium go up, depending on the value you give?

Cheers in advance

Do the Max Power driving course, and you are garunteed a 25% discount with Adrian Flux. I wonder what you have to learn in that course? How to drive through a Mc Donalds drive thru in a 1.0 liter rusty Nova without hitting the barriers and kerbing your TSW Venoms...

they wont insure you on a 2.0 if you are under 21, thats why i had to leave them. If i still had the 1.4 it would only be £630 now apparently!
