right basically my corsa is fucked, has been for some time and i cant be bothered to pay out £900+ to fix it as its only a 1.0 12v.

the plan atm is to get a temp car for about a grand and then eventually get a conversion for the corsa, probably a 2.0 16v.

theres one last hope though, which is if theres a place local to me willing to convert my car to a 1.6 16v or something, for say... less than a grand.

i know i could go to LM but thats so much hassle finding an engine and getting it to kent as well as my car. so does anyone know of a place around southend/essex that would do this for me as basically a drive-in drive-out thing. would a normal garage do this?

someone help me and dont make me buy an XR2i! lol...

looking at around £700 but you cant do drive-in drive-out for a 1.6, you have to get the engine yourself!
