No no, I'm fairly sure C14XE doesn't exist

C14SE is 8v
C16XE is 1.6 16v

No such engine as C14XE I don't think.

Later 16v are X14XE and X16XE ??

first letter depends on the emmisions so its a C - euro 1 emissions. numbers are the capacity.

this is where it gets fun, the first letter is the compression, second the fueling, and the third extras.

e.g C16xe - euro 1 emissions, 1.6 capasity, 10 to 11.5:1 compression, e for multipoint injection
