Wrong, i was only 18 when i took out my policy, they covered me no probs.

yeah they ask questions like what percentage does the particular mod increase bhp? think the first bracket is up to 10%. non-preformance mods are classed by their monatary eg upto £1000 worth. Only prob with tescos is that cat1 alarms do not lower your premium (well not for me)

well i dont have my car yet ( am going to look at 1 2nite) got my tes ton 4th ugust and turn 18 in sept , but i have around 5000 worth of parts sat in my garage / bedroom waiting to go on so i need some insurance company that will insure me

Yes. They stang me an extra £240 over my premium for declaring my mods.

im 20 and phoned tesco for a quote all was ok till i sai di have mods then they said they dotn allow mods to persons under the age of 25 as its there new policy or something

dont do it!! They are shit! I am with them, currently paying £750 to insure a 1.2 8v beast. I am 22 with no no claims an 5 points so thats why its high, but puttin the mods on bumped it up £200 and on the insurance certificate it states the value as "market" which is prob a bout £800 for my car!!!

i will be 19 held license for 2 years, 2 accidents and 1 claim, £1200 on a corsa c 1.2

i was wondering how much it will add on top for kit, alloys and zaust
