I NEED a car to rent as Im goin for a very long journey n dont fancy the corsa for it much....... but im 18...... Anyone know places in South East that will rent a car or somethin to an 18 year old???

Age Requirements

Minimun rental age is 21 years except on car types IDAR/SDAR, SDMR/ISMR, FDAR/PDAR and SVAR for which the minimum age is 25 years. There is no upper age limit except Pembroke, Carmarthen and the Isle of Man where the age limit is 75 years. Plymouth, Exeter, Leigh, Newquay, Taunton and Bury St Edmunds where the upper age limit is 70 years.

ne1 know if any boats frm south go up north so i cud get me car up north without drivin it all th way then jus drive for a few hours wen i get there? im jus havin a look now but dus ne1 know off th top of their hed?

there is a way round it if you tell them your in the armed forces i worked for avis for 5 years as a rental agent.just hope they don't ask to see your forces id but most wont plus you normally get discount

A little while ago they were offering free test drive days on the new Vauxhall Vecra, they would bring the car to you, and collect it that evening.
