How robbed do you feel handing over your money (£145 in my case!), in return for a round piece of paper, and not much else in the way of decent roads .
Bastards!

I got pulled last night, cops were "trying" to do me for dangerous driving, when all I was doing was avoiding a pot hole which is at least 2 foot width and 1-2 foot deep!

I pay £90.75 for 6 months, it's rediculous when you see the roads round here.
What takes the piss more is my Dad pays less on his car with a bigger engine, because it's new enough to be under the new tax categories (emissions rather than engine size).

thats how it should be though based on emissions rather than capacity

Yes, but it's just annoying because he pays less on a bigger car.
They should all be emissions.
