if I had/have any stone chips I buy the paint touch ups from vauxhall use a small cocktail to dab the paint on. then use a tcut rub it down with a lint free cloth ( tcut about 4 quid , lint cloth about £1) till the paint is back smooth with the original bodywork. then use the buffer to make it nice and shiney then polish it up with an autoglym or something then buffer again.. only wot chipsaway etc do just they use quicker drying paint.

Its probably just a scuff in the lacquer, use an abrasive polish or rubbing compound, Autoglym paint renovator would do the job, give it a good rub with that until the scuffs disapeer and then give it a polish over that
