Hi,

I have my R33 Skyline GTS (reg M152 xxx) booked in for the 2nd of Aug to get the following work carried out.

Fit customer supplied clutch (full R32 GTR clutch kit)
Fit customer supplied cam belt
Change Diff and gearbox oil (gearbox crunches into second when cold, could be clutch?!?!)

Investigate a knocking noise from the front/top of the engine. Heard around 1500 to 2000rpm. Could it be a stuck lifter? I think it would be best to look at this before the cam belt is fitted, just in case the engine needs to be looked at etc.

PS ¡V What type of courtesy car would I be getting? I wouldn¡¦t mind a drive of a 32 GTR before looking into buying one ƒº

Nah.... not yet....

The boost controller should arrive in a week or so.... but im going to see how it feels at 0.8bar (near enough top of std turbo's range if it is ceramic)

jason, nope..... not yet.... the bumper will be coming off again, glassfibred etc, grill fitted...

i will do that then....
