what are these like,ive been offered one in part exchange for my car with money on top.
are they quick,are the turbos reliable? its got 70k on a p plate and is broom yellow.
any opinions

apparently they go through gearboxes and turbos for fun though?? thats wot put me off one

Never had a new box on mine, quite liked the gearbox TBH, only had a new turbo put on it as it was an uprated one

My 4th synchro just went on mine £280 to repair but thats the only problem i had with it

Gets yourself a Seb2 chip/Intercooler and turn it up to 18 psi and you got a nice nippy little motor

that happens when they are abused, gearboxes don't just fuck up because of bad build design or whatever, i really pmsl when people say ' i aint getting one of them cars, the engines blow up' and they rag the shit out of the motor, then wonder why it's knackered

They are reliable cars if they are looked after...... reg oil/plug changes etc
