Anyone go to these?
Ive been once but it was when I was 16 and cant really remember it much.....what standard of cars do you expect to come through?
Not going to waste my time if its only mondeos and shitters!
Looking for a BMW or a Impreza! Whats the chances of these coming through and me getting a bargain?

I go to the one in Belle Vue, Manchester from time to time.
You get all sorts going through. There are a load of shitters going through for practically nothing but last time I went there was a couple of brand new TTs, nearly new BMW and Mercs etc. A fair few of the cars a finance repossessions ie someone takes out finance on a BMW 330CI, realizes they can't afford the repayments, the car is repossesed and put through the auctions.
Most will have a sports and performance day aswell so you will prob find a few Scoobs appear in there.

Don't see why not. Like I say you see everything going through. Just depends on your luck.
Also, I advise learning EVERYTHING about the car you are after, common faults, values etc like the back of your hand because you don't get the sort of time to examine it like you would at a dealer.
Also, I would always go a few times before you start bidding to see whats what, how it works, what the auctioneer is like. Otherwise, it can be pretty daunting and confusing.
Be very careful, a mate of mine got stung big time buying a car through the auctions last year. It was a pretty new car, not a high spec or performance car and hes been going for a while, but he chose badly and it cost him over a grand to get it sorted.

I went to in London a few weeks back when i was visiting my sister. It was quite expensive but it was in London mind. A P Reg Rover 400 with 105,000 miles on the clock went for £900

They hold their own auctions.
