"Most spray paints used in vandalism"
9 out of 10 vandals recommend it.
Reckons it protects against paint stripper as well, sounds like rubbish to me.
The fact it will remove scratches from CDs worries me as well. Brasso does this.

If it protects against vandals spray paint, what happens when you want a respray ??
Sounds too good to be true to me.
Think I'll stick with Meguiars
Not a bad price though if someone wants to chance there paintwork and give it a go

I thought that too chuck, until I tried Meguiars.
Got a sample sachet and the bonett half and half with meguiars and Autoglym.
There was quite a difference in the finish and shine.
So I turned to Meguiars and have never looked back.
(The bug remover is shite tho.Autoglym tar remover is loads better)
Give it a go, see ahat you think

Cool, will do. Nearly run out of Auto Glym so I'll give it a try.
Cheers Claire

Hard water - as in water that contains calcium carbonate (or limestone as its more commonly known... trying to remember GCSE chemistry here... ) If you're in a hard water area like me, when you clean your car, will leave white tide marks from where the water evaporates, and these can be stubborn to remove.
Thats probably what he's referring to...

Autoglym contains resin, which when you want to spray over a panel is a pain in the arse, panel wipe does the best to get it out of the paint, but sometimes its not perfect and you get lots of pinholes in the paint where the paint just wont stick, and however much you put on it leaves tiny little holes, i'd imagine its the same as Nismo is talking about with Mer.
And i used to use Zymol on my car, which i loved, now i use meguires and its the best stuff in the world, i've tried everything now and Meguires is the best, it is also made from natural oils, like zymol is too and is easier to get off the paint when you need to spray a panel

Me and pete tried the new meguirs stuff at max live and tbh we cant see as it made any difference to autoglym.
Just use whichever you prefer, there al basically the same anyhoo.
Personally i dont like meguiers, only decent thing they make is the foam applicator pads.
