Looks really nice, if I can't afford the E46 I'm going to get an E36 Evo.

Make sure the Evo has warranty, the VANOS units pack up on them every few years and cost 2K to replace.

Whats the VANOS unit??? £2k NOT wanting to pay that to fix it

VANOS - Variable Nockenwellen-Spreizung or Variable Camshaft Adjustment.

There are loads of pages on the web to explain what it does, but the double VANOS systems as fitted to the M3 Evo can go every 30K. The normal 286BHP M3 uses single VANOS (like my 328 does) and never really goes wrong.

Think I'll just look for another 325/328!

What MPG do you get on 328?
