phoned about 8 companies for my insurance renewal, currently i'm with adrian flux. however flux's wouldn't give me my new quote with 3 weeks to go which resulted in me giving them earache and refused to tell them my cheapest quote which really wound them up  .
2.0 16v corsa all mods declared . fully comp protected cover for a 31 year old, 7+ yrs ncb, garaged,alarmed, 4000 a year mileage, wife also on the policy who is 30.
best quote i got was £465 with £250 excess.
so i rang HIC and was given a nice quote of £377 with £150 excess. ( also includes trackday cover,guaranteed value of £3000 and salvage retension, cover for going abroad and a curtesy car if i have a bump.  )
so a big recomend for HIC insurance, very helpful on the phone aswell.
btw flux's quote came this morning after i gave them a reaming at £432 with an excess of £300 (car value at £1600 and none of HIC's extras)
