very tempting, might go for a mk3 though with standard gti arches/bumpers lowered on some nice 18s with an exhaust and nothing else

seen a very nice 2 door mk 4 GTI. the wheels LOOKED like speedlines on it 17's and it was just lowered.
i'm not a big fan of golfs but this changed my mind

Don't do it Nik. Those VR6s (174bhp) are pish slow, and the reliability of Golfs isn't all it's cracked up to be - especially on older models
