he sold me the dodgiest 1.4 sport corsa ever! the 'ripspeed' tax disk holder was stuck on by blue tack, the are two holes in the back uphosltery, the boot light was disconnected, its had a new engine in it at some time which he 4got to mention, stone chips all over the bonnet, more blue tack next to the indicator which he didnt bother to take off. as soon as i got home i couldnt get it into reverse, later found out the clutch was gone, which with fitting cost over £500 because for some unknown reason it had to have a 1.6 sport clutch. the knob which u use to direct the fan had been tampered with because when u pull it out to turn the rear windscreen heater on, the whole knob came off. when i came to look at the car it was filthy. luckily my dads minted n we wanted a project car, but still...wot a mess!

You should of tried everything before you bought it.
And if your dad is 'minted' then why buy a corsa? i could think of better cars if i had the money.

well i didnt notice the clutch untill id got home n payed for the car, nor did he tell me about the new engine that had been put in. the fact is that he messed about with the car so much, some of the worst 'bodge' jobs iv seen.

bought as seen!

maybe he should of told you it was stuck together with blu-tac ( ) but to be honest you aint gonna sell a car by pointing out the bad parts!!

Next time you buy a car, you can test if the clutch is fcuked / slipping by putting the car into 2nd or 3rd and trying to pull away with the handbrake on. if its slips its nackered and if it stalls it should be ok.

Im sorry but if the deciding factors for buying the car are the ones highlighted above then you deserve to get shafted

Unless its unsafe or unroad worthy then really you have no complaint as you looked over it.

Also its a second hand car so get over it.

Good, serves you right.

You saw the car so cant complain about the bonnet being stonechipped.

As for the clutch, had you test drove it you would have known it was on its way out.

Upholstry, again upto you to give the car a once over.

You should have checked the instrument panel to check everything worked, you obviously didnt.
