I think you will find the world record is 82 lbs 3 ounces, from Lake Raduta, in Romania. The french record is in the 70-s somewhere (or used to be)

i was reading my local paper last nite and i was shcoked to hear a guy went to lake where i live and got 95 carps for 195KG i think that is a record in cambridgeshire wot u guys think ????

Arbury Angling Centre!s Steve Gleeson broke the match record at Waterbeach`s Magpie lake with 98 carp for195lb -
but it could of been the first "double ton"

"My elastic broke with 10 mins left, " said gleeson he caught from start to finish, fishing pellet inch deep on the long pole at peg 6.

i make my own hemp, sometimes i will book a peg. nip to the waters the night before and stick a layer of bait on the bottom where i plan to fish, the next day i turn up, smash another loud of fishgrub in, set up and im away
