It has come to our attention that a significant number of vehicles are being imported from outside the EEC with speedometers that show only Kilometres per hour (km/h).

We must stress that Under the Construction and Use regulations, section 35, speedometers in the UK must show both km/h and mph.

Candidates and Instructors are reminded that vehicles not complying with the regulations are unsuitable for a driving test.
